HERE’S YOUR CHANCE TO GET INVOLVED AND HAVE YOUNG ATHLETES REMEMBER AND REFER TO YOU AS “COACH”
A coach is one of the most influential people in a young person’s life and SPAMBA is calling on you to get involved and become a coach or just as important, become an assistant coach. This is an excellent opportunity to have a positive impact on young athletes and help them not only develop their athletic skills, but life skills as well. Teams through organized sports help strengthen a community, and coaches are the key to the success of those teams.
Not exactly sure you are up to the challenge?
The SPAMBA Board of Directors has identified recruiting, supporting, and the development of ALL our coaches as a primary goal, and it is committed to helping you prepare before and throughout the season, on and off the field, in any way we can. We are offering the Initiation module of the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) in Stony Plain free of charge to anyone who volunteers to be a part of the coaching staff for any of our teams. We are also offering the Rally Cap orientation through Baseball Alberta in Stony Plain for even the NEWEST players and coaches.
Wanting to coach a higher division or even “AA”?
SPAMBA will be hosting Regional and Provincial NCCP training courses that will also be free of charge to anyone who volunteers to be part of the coaching staff. Click on this link for dates and details:
