In order to register a player, you must have a Ramp Account.  To set up a ramp account, click "Register Now" below and select "Create New Account".  If you have an account, login and click "Register Existing Athlete".  If you already have a Ramp account, but have new athletes you would like to register, login and click "Register New Athlete"


In person registration will be as follow:

February February 23 at the Tri-Municipal Region registration fair from 6-8:30pm at the Heritage Pavillion, 5100 41 Ave., Stony Plain.

Regular season begins first week of May and ends the last week of June.  This is weather dependent.  Once a team has been selected for the player, details will be emailed by the coach with dates, times, and a schedule.  Additional baseball is available starting in July for some divisions.  Details will be available later in the season.

a)  Rally Cap players can play either Monday/Wednesday nights or Tuesday/Thursday nights

Stony Plain Amateur Minor Ball Association (SPAMBA) makes every effort to ensure all children practice/play in a supervised and safe environment. We regret that accidents do happen, and in that situation we will provide immediate attention. Parents/Guardians must understand the risks involved in sport and will not hold SPAMBA liable should an injury/accident occur. Parents/Guardians authorize their child to play within the above mentioned organization.


The information collected on this form will be used to register the player with SPAMBA. The information will be used by staff and coaches to assign the player to a team(s), to contact parents/guardians concerning the game schedule and changes, and to contact individuals as necessary in case of an emergency. Player name, parent/guardian names, and contact information will be on a team list and distributed to other parents and coaches either electronically or paper method. Volunteering is an important part of keeping our association alive. Parent/guardian involvement is key to our success and vital in keeping baseball a viable part of our community.Opportunities will be announced by email, website, or Facebook page. Please take some time and lend a hand.


Pre-Rookie will be handled under the Rally Cap Division. Pre-Rookie will be for those players that meet the following criteria: a) born in 2010; b) completed at least one year of Rally Cap; c)the parent/guardian feels the player excels in this level of play. Teams will play most of their games in Stony Plain and a couple special games in Spruce Grove. Players may be moved between Pre-Rookie and Rally Cap divisions at anytime due to strengths/weaknesses in their ability with cooperation of the coaches. (Please note: If there are not enough registered Pre-Rookie players, these players will be placed on Rally Cap teams)


Rally Cap and Pre-Rookie players are provided a hat and t-shirt at no additional cost.  Rookie, Mosquito, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget players are provided a hat, t-shirt, and pant at no additional cost. A jersey and belt are provided and are to be returned at the end of the season.


Rep teams have additional fees and time commitments. Fees will be determined and handled by the team treasurer. 50% of the rep fees must be paid to the Rep team before a uniform will be issued. The remaining portion will be due at the end of regular season play. Details on Rep tryouts, fees, teams, schedule, etc will be provided at a later date.


SPAMBA has permission to use and publish any photos taken during the season on any of our resources, IE newspaper, website, email etc.


1) There is a $25.00 fee for any/all NSF cheques.

2) Last day to register without penalty is March 20, 2017.

3) Last day to register is April 3, 2017.  There is a $50 late registration fee added.

2) There is a $50.00 fee for any registration cancellations after May 1, 2017.

3) No refunds will be provided after May 15, 2017.

4) Uniform deposit cheques for $50 (post dated to July 1, 2017) is required for all levels (excluding Rally Cap and Pre-Rookie), and must be provided to SPAMBA before a uniform will be issued. A uniform consists of a jersey and a belt. Cheques will only be cashed if the uniform is not returned and/or is not in satisfactory condition as determined by the Uniform Coordinator.
